Es war eine lange Reise von der irischen Provinz zur hedonistischen thailändischen Partyinsel Koh PhaNgan, wobei Darragh Casey sich immer eines bewahrt hat - eine kompromisslose Liebe zur musikalischen Innovation und die Verbindungen zur Crowd auf dem Dancefloor.
Geboren in Irland lebt er jetzt im Inselparadies Koh Phangan in Thailand. Mit seiner besonderen Mischung von House bis Techno hat sich der Irishman schnell in die Herzen der dortigen Szene gespielt und ist regelmässig bei einigen der besten und einzigartigsten Events in Asien gebucht.
Als Resident ist er bereits seit mehreren Jahren im Loi Lay auf Koh PhaNgan vertreten.
Nach einem erfolgreichen Jahr 2018, ging es 2019 für Darragh steil bergauf. Sein Release „Russian Chicks“ erreichte Platz 5 in den DeepTech Beatport-Charts, gefolgt von Replicant auf Ballroom Purple auf Platz 8 der Afro-House Beatport-Charts. Weitere Releases folgten auf Exploited Ghetto, Deep Tech Records, Go Deeva, Moria Audio, Antiqua und Deep Vein
Itʼs been a long journey from the Irish countryside to the hedonistic Thai island of Koh Phangan but Darragh has kept one thing always the same - a no compromise love for musical innovation and making connections with his crowds.
Hailing from Ireland, but now residing on the island paradise of Koh Phangan, Thailand. The Irishman has been busy playing his flavour of House & Techno at some of the best and most unique venues in Asia.
He holds a coveted residency at forward-thinking music venue Loi Lay on Koh Phangan, and has played most events and clubs worth playing in the region. You can catch him playing at events deep in the Koh Phangan jungle to 7,000 people, Full Moon parties on the beach with 20,000, or even his long held Sunday residency at the Loi Lay with a smaller more intimate 200 person capacity.
After a busy year in 2018, 2019 turned out to be even stronger for Darragh. His release ‘ʼRussian Chicksʼʼ reached No. 5 in the Deep Tech Beatport charts & multiple releases on some of the scenes hottest labels followed.
